Young Kennel Club Members' Renewal Reminder

The YKC is concerned about the rising number of young dog lovers entering YKC classes and competitions at shows with a lapsed YKC membership, unfortunately resulting in invalid qualifications.  YKC members must renew their membership in the month that they joined and a reminder letter from the YKC office is sent to all members providing them with the option to renew online or by post, with the opportunity to set up a direct debit.  To ensure that the qualifications gained at YKC classes and competitions are valid for Crufts, members and parents are urged to check that their membership is up to date.  For further information or to renew membership, visit or contact the Young Kennel Club at or by phone on 020 7518 1030.  Membership of the Young Kennel Club costs just £15 for a year, £12 for siblings and £12 by direct debit.

Dogs die in vehicles on hot days

As responsible dog owners we all know about this but a gentle reminder never hurts and the sun is now shinning occasionally.  Please be very careful.

The police in Plymouth had to break into 3 cars this week (w/c 15/6/15) in order to rescue dogs left in distress in hot vehicles.
